COVID-19 Updates - Alameda County and Contra Costa County March 13, 2020 General COVID-19, Public Health Alameda As of yesterday, Alameda County Public Health Department confirmed four new cases of COVID-19; two of the four cases are the first incidence of community-acquired transmission in Alameda County. Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD) has revised guidance for high priority groups for COVID-19 testing; in addition, now only nasopharyngeal swab specimens are required.
